Ordering flowers from our site ensures that your order will reach us or the family in a timely manner, and your gesture of support will remain acknowledged in the Book of Memories™ for future generations. We only work with local florists so we can maintain the sense of urgency and quality of your selections. We thank you for helping to support the family during their time of need, and will fondly remember your kind gesture.
We respect the sensitivity and dignity that comes with ordering tribute gifts from the funeral home. It is for this reason that we have attempted to design our online Sympathy Store with the utmost respect to the family and the deceased. We hope you find this service helpful during your time of need and would welcome any comments or suggestions you might have to help us serve our communities better.
Condolence: I worked at MEC at 825 Seventh (up until our company moved to the World Trade Center). Robert was an "institution" to all of us at the company. I was very saddened to hear of Robert's passing. He was, and will continue to be, a huge part of my memories when I think back to my years at 825 Seventh. He always was good-natured and had a friendly smile to everyone who was arriving at the Lobby Desk. I will remember his voice over the many announcements for the fire drills he led. My sincere condolences at this sad time.
Condolence: He made going to the office every day a pleasurable experience. Knowing Rod, will be at the front desk waiting to bust my chops, was something that would take my mind off the wost of days. Al the emails and headaches I would have to deal with once in the office. Our company Christmas wasn't the same if Mr. (4) finger was there. He told me, you knew you had a really drink in your glass when the drink measured four fingers talll on the glass. Remind you, we'll always walk out feeling the effects of those (4) fingered drinks and an amazing night.
To Rod, may God welcome you with open arms, as you have done him well while in our presence and brought joy to many. God bless you, and may you rest in peace. Till we meet again my friend.
Condolence: Robert was a fellow member of the Fire Bell Club. We became friends via the club. He was a active participant in club events.
Bob Park his car nearby when he came to club meetings and was always kind enough to offer me a ride back to Brooklyn where I would then catch a local bus back to Staten Island. Those rides gave us a great opportunity to talk and laugh about any and everything we had in common.
Condolence: On behalf of the Officers, Directors and Members of the
Fire Bell Club of New York,
we extend our deepest condolences.
Robert was a strong supporter of the Club and was always there to assist when there was a need. We shared a camaraderie and friendship that will be truly missed.
Please know, Robert, you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.
May Robert, our Brother, rest in peace.
