February 10, 2021 Generosa Jean DiMola of Brooklyn NY, 101 yrs old passed away peacefully on Wednesday in her home. She was a proud lifelong Brooklynite.
Born December 17, 1919 in Brooklyn NY. Married for over 60 years to Frank DiMola the love of her life. Their first date was to the cinema to see the romantic picture "The Beast with Five Fingers " Jean was a retiree of NY Life. As a value and dedicated employee the company gave her a beautiful retirement party in the Golden Tower on top of the New York Life Building.
Jean and Frank loved adventures and were avid worldwide travelers. She was a great Aunt , Italian cook, baker, homemaker, and loved the Theater and the Arts. She was a active in many social clubs and church societies. She served as President of the Holy Rosary, and the Golden Ages Club of Most Precious Blood Church.
Jean credited her long good life to the" Power of Positive Thinking "and the "Coney Island breeze". She was truly a shining example of The Greatest Generation. Jean's humor and wit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
February 16. 2021 Mass of Christine burial will be held at 10:30 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church 62 Bay 47 St Brooklyn NY 11214 followed by entombment at Woodbridge Cemetery New Jersey.
