Obituary for Barbara Ann Brutting
Barbara Brutting (Fitzgerald) born August 15, 1941, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born and raised in Mission Hill in Boston, Mass. Barbara is survived by her loving husband Thomas Brutting; her children Jack Harper and his life partner Merrilee Moscardelli of Braintree, MA., Elizabeth Harper and her life partner Michael Gallant of Hanover, Mass., Michelle Harper and her life partner Ken Brevich of Bellingham, Mass., Christine Harper of Abington, Mass. And Michael Sylva of Bridgewater, Mass. Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren Jack, Shana, Taylor, Lauren, Cory, Joshua and Jacquelyn and her great grandchildren Anthony, Jack, Shaelyn, Ryan, Ava, Rylee and Wyatt. Barbara also leaves behind her sisters: Jean Comeau of Hyde Park, Ma., Josephine Ciorlo of West Palm Beach, Florida and brother James Fitzgerald of Brooklyn, N.Y. Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her loving niece Kim, her great niece Antoinette and her great, great niece and nephew Alexamora and Ralfy.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend services at Peter C. LaBella Funeral Chapel 2625 Harway Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y on Thursday October 14, 2021, 3:00pm-7:00pm and a funeral mass from The Most Precious Blood Church, Bay 46th Street, Brooklyn, NY on Friday October 15, 2021, at 10:45am.
There will be services held in Boston, Ma at later date.
